The ARC database, which has been established by University of Nevada, Reno (UNR),was designed with two primary goals in mind. The first goal was to provide a Web-based database management system and application that will allow Consortium members to store research results related to materials, material properties, material measures and results of laboratory and field testing. The second goal is to make the data available to the general public via a searchable Web-based interface. It is expected that university researchers and students, along with industry professionals and public agencies, will benefit from this data. The system is being implemented using well-adopted technologies including Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft ASP.NET. The database and application are currently being hosted at the University of Nevada, Reno. This site is dedicated to collecting the feedback, thoughts, issues, and concerns of individuals who are evaluating and/or using the ARC database. This group is mainly created for discussing the features of ARC database and providing the solution to user's question. User can post any question in the ARC database Discussion forum. Your feedback on this database is instrumental in ensuring that future changes or enhancements to this database will meet the needs and expectations of the users. The new updates will be posted by administrator of this group in the newsletters forum. The ARC database is accessible at http://www.arc.unr.edu/Outreach.html.
